By Simon Adderton
Have you ever wondered ‘Can I Escape the Rat Race?’ Wonder what it would feel like to be free of the hustle and bustle of a job or small business that is consuming so much of your life. Would it be that you work from home, raising your children in stead of raising your blood pressure? Or maybe work from a hotel overlooking beautiful Bora Bora in the South Pacific for a month?
Here’s an example of what escaping the rat race meant for me. I am writing this article in my back yard as I’m watching over my kids playing in the yard. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to set my own schedule and be able to spend time with my kids. I can stop writing for 1/2 an hour and play Basketball with my son.
Now if you can think of doing any of this then it is very possible. What you need is to be able to want it enough to get through all the hard bits. Yes, there are lots of hard times as you going through the learning curve of working for yourself and at home, probably some new skills and the hardest of all, getting back up when you made a mistake.
So if your drives big enough and you got enough support from those closest to you and from people who know, then there’s no reason why you can’t escape the Rat Race. All you need to do is find out what you want, work out how to get it and then do it.
To help you with these three simple tasks I have created a website you should check out, its at http://www.escape-ratrace-2008.info/ Go check it out and start your journey to escaping the Rat Race.
Here’s to your future success.
