Secrets to Making Money Online-Part II

In part I of this series we learned that creating an affiliate Clickbank account is the first step in making money online. A lot of companies that sell online business opportunities would like you to believe you do this step and you are done. I have been roped in by that idea to many times to count. After purchasing many different home businesses I was able to compile all of the advice and come up with one super plan for making money online.
So you have set up a Clickbank account, now what? When you signed up for Clickbank you were able to create a hoplink that you could advertise and make a profit of whatever you were able to sell. Sounds great, but to actually make money at this customers have to buy it, and for them to be able to buy your product they have to be able to find it. With the millions of websites out there how can someone find your link to your product? You must advertise for this to happen.
Now you could go out and spend hundreds of dollars through Adwords and other like programs or you could advertise for free. Advertising for free is such a foreign term for so many, but it is actually possible and can be quite lucrative. The number one way to advertise your new product for free is through article submission and blogging. This step seems easy enough but there are a couple of steps that once you master are not difficult at all. You actually can make money online through articles and blogging if you do it right.
The top search engine Google actually loves a few article and blogging sites out there, Ezinearticles and GoArticles and for blogging WordPress are their favorites. There is one problem though when you create that hoplink through Clickbank you get a URL that looks something like this accountname.product.hop.clickbank.net, it is long and ugly and quickly can be identified as an affiliate link. These article and blogging sites that I mentioned will either deny your article or shut down your blog if they find these links in your submission. So how do you get around this? Create a simple, free, website page that has information for your product and eventually links them to your affiliate link.
It sounds more difficult then it is. You do not need to spend hundreds of dollars on website design; there are many free website hosting companies out there. Some website hosting companies are better then others, my personal favorite is Weebly, it is easy to use, and you can even add AdSence from Google on to your site to increase your revenue. If you don’t know anything about website design you can read Building a Website” by Rhonda Crowder. This book gives very simple easy to follow steps for basic website design.
So let’s review create an affiliate Clickbank account and then create a simple basic website to host your hoplink so that you can submit articles and blog’s to advertise your product. In Part III of this series we will discuss how to create that perfect article or blog.
