There are three steps to success you need to take when starting an Online Home Based Business. The first two, which were discussed in the previous two articles, are Focus and Effort. Focus combined with Effort is very important in creating a successful Online Home Based Business. Being able to home in on a single form of marketing, create time to research, then implement and test your marketing, will allow you to elevate your business to the next level. Laser-like focused effort saves you both money and time, two precious commodities when you are first starting.
But if you stop there you will be missing the last and most important tool for exploding your profits. Persistence is the most overlooked yet best way to leverage your efforts into creating a solid business with great residual income. If you don’t have the persistence to tweak your advertising, do follow up, test constantly or take advantage of the changes online, you will soon fall behind and end up starting all over again. Your sales will fall off and all of the work you did would have been for nothing.
When you finally become an expert in your way of marketing, and you have taken the action necessary to implement your advertising, then you have to be consistent and Persistent in evaluating, adjusting and testing. Evaluating. Adjusting. Testing. You have to do this as long as you have a business. Any business. And it could take as little as a couple hours per day online. The rest of your time can spent researching new marketing methods or keeping up with the research in your particular niche.
The internet is constantly changing and the way you do business has to change with it. Certain keywords may be effective one day and may not be the next day, month or six months down the road. There is a seasonal effect to your marketing, so you may want to target certain audiences at different times of the year. You have to constantly evaluate, try new approaches and look for other ways of exposing your products to potential customers.
Sometimes one target audience doesn’t drive the volume to your website as another target audience (yes, you should have more than one), but your conversion rate to sales is the same or better. You have to weigh the results and either add the campaign, adjust the old one or keep them both as is and test a new one. It is not uncommon for marketers to have five, ten, twenty or more different campaigns that target different segments of your customer base in order to maximize their coverage and budget. To reach this level takes time, but by persistently evaluating, adjusting, and testing, your marketing begins to naturally expand to the point where you will literally have people calling you to buy.
Focus, Effort and Persistence are the most important weapons in your marketing arsenal to launch your Online Home Based Business Opportunity. If you are able to master them you will have the discipline to be successful in any business you want. If you can master your marketing, even if it is just one form of marketing, you will be able to enjoy more Freedom, more Time with your family and in the end more Wealth.
