Fresh leads are being fought for, by lead generating companies and by MLM business people. What is it about the freshness? People say not to buy leads, then they say to buy fresh leads. What are we suppose to do?

Here’s the run down you need to keep in mind. There is nothing wrong with buying leads, but there is something wrong with buying bad, useless, worthless leads! Buying fresh leads on the other hand is a good thing. So how do we know which leads are which?

First thing you can look at is the price. The cheaper the leads, the less fresh they are. Imagine buying clothes from your favorite branded shops. Many of us wait till the shop goes on sale then we go shopping, but the reason for the sale is that the clothes are old already and new designs are coming up. So it’s like leads, the fresher they are the more expensive they are.

What does it mean when leads are cheap? It means bad, worse and worst things. First they are old, so they were interested some time ago and we have no idea if they are still interested right now. Next, they have been sold before. The more the leads have been sold, the cheaper they get. And aside from that, some companies mix in ‘bogus’ leads in the list just to fill it up. This will not be a surprise to people who have experienced calling and looking for someone who had been dead for 10 years.

What do you get from Fresh leads? Fresh leads are newly registered people who are genuinely interested in what you do. They will want you to call or email them and they will be talking back to you and screaming at you telling you they are on the Do Not Call list. Aside from Fresh leads, you also want to get you hand on exclusive leads, meaning they are all yours. If you have a set of Fresh and exclusive leads, then you’re well on your way to MLM greatness.
