Well, to say the least last year was by far one of the hardest. There were more bankruptcies, home foreclosures and job losses then there has been in a very long time. And I know it’s a word people do not want to hear but yes we are in a recession and it looks like it’s going to stay that way for some time.

But that does not mean you should be hiding under your bed in 2009!!

No you’re going to want to face 2009 head on. Why?

Because 2009 can be one of your biggest growth years for your network marketing business. I know this may seem hard to believe but because of the weakened economy and the unstable job market people are going to be looking for ideas and opportunities to make money.

Let me ask you this “Do you feel more in control of your future because you have your own business?”

I would think you do. No one can fire you and you are in control of your income and your destiny. Don’t you think others want to have that same security? (I hope I don’t have to answer that one for you)

Lets take on-line sales for instance everything is pointing to on-line sales increasing by 14%. People will be using the Internet to shop, do research and looking for ways to make money. No matter if you’re focus is on finding business builders for your team or you prefer to just sell your companies products or if you’re like many network marketers you do both to build your business. No matter how you build your business you’re in a win-win situation.

So do not let what’s happening discourage you. There will be more prospects and more people you can help then ever before. And remember this during 2009. What you focus on and how you think will absolutely determine the direction of your business. If you have yourself convinced your business cannot or will not grow in this economy, then that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

But the same is true if you decide that the economy will have no effect on the growth of your business, in fact it is the best thing for the growth and explosion of your business, then that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

So the choice is yours:

You can hide under the bed and hope your business survives this down turn.

Or

You can position yourself for the most explosive year your business has ever seen.

Personally I have decided to make 2009 my biggest year ever.
