Another mlm secret that should be revealed for beginners is the importance of building your list. How should a beginner build a list? It starts with a capture page.
The capture page teases your lead with good copy so they enter their name and email address in exchange of a free report, an ebook or simply good information. From there, your prospect should get a series a messages written by yourself, as it helps to build trust and gives you a sense of expertise.
You want to feel that your prospect is getting value. If they don’t feel that, the next thing they will do is opt out of the auto-responder, so you lose them, and you don’t want that.
As your list grows, you feed them with motivation messages, a new website that they should check out, new marketing techniques and if you need to make some sales, why not plug them a sales page, provided that you actually bought it and tried it yourself, you have high chances of getting the sale.
To build a targeted list, you need to get traffic from targeted sources such as the Money and Investing group at MySpace, MLM and Internet marketing forums, traffic exchanges, video marketing, etc., and if you have a decent advertising budget, you can put Google ads if you want to. But it’s best for beginners to concentrate on free traffic methods first.
