In Network Marketing and MLM you need to assume some leadership position sometime in your Network Marketing/ MLM career. So you need to learn about leadership.

A good leader to your downlines helps to motivate them and increase your network sales. You need to know how to lead them and help to drive them towards their goal, and your goal.

Sometimes you will feel lost and impatient when you don’t see results.

And you may even feel that your goals seem to only be a dream, an unaccomplished goal.

Leadership is a unique trait that is within some people. others need to learn and acquire leadership skills. But both requires motivation and practice and execution to become a true good leader.

So what qualities defines a good leader?

1) To be a leader, you must be able to influence others to accomplish a goal, or an objective. You are crucial to your downlines actions and results.

2) Leadership is not about power, it is about helping and encouraging people towards achieving their goal, that is to increase their personal sales or network size. You must be a leader not a boss. A leader is a person that inspires; a boss is someone who is feared.

3) Your downlines will only follow you when they see that you have a clear sense of purpose. They will only follow you if they can see that you know where you are going, what you are doing. You must know your direction, your plans, your goals and your vision.

4) Being a leader is about who you are, what you know, and what you do. You are a reflection of what your downlines must be. You must be a role model to them. Action speaks louder than words.

The way you deal with your downlines and network, will form the foundation and pillar of strength of your network. The stronger your relationship, the stronger their trust and confidence is in you and your capabilities.

5) Being a good leader will also require good communication. Communication is a very important key to good leadership. Without good communication skills you won’t be able to effectively communicate your thoughts, advice, knowledge, and skills to your downlines.

Leadership is not learned overnight. It is also not a single action, it is a complex combination of qualities that you must have all together. Lack of one trait will make you less of a good leader. Master the skills of great leadership, will definitely help to steer your network to success, enabling each and everybody in your network to achieve your goal.
