Patience and Persistence - Requirements For Network Marketers
By Ronda Tuckness
Do you possess patience and persistence? Do you have what it takes to build a successful network marketing business? In this world of instant gratification, we usually give up on things too quickly. If we do not see immediate results, we throw in the towel.
Don’t let this happen to you. Throwing in the towel when success was just around the corner. You must know going in that building a business takes time. If someone tells you different, they are lying. There is no such thing as getting rich overnight. Our good sense tells us that, but sometimes we don’t listen. We may try something for a couple of weeks, then just give up when nothing happens.
Patience really is a virtue, as they say, and persistence is just as important. Plan to spend at least three years building your business before expecting to see substantial results. It will grow slowly, over time, but it has to be given that time. Don’t get discouraged and cut it short. Don’t go in with unrealistic expectations.
Go in knowing full well what it’s going to take to see success. Plan to work hard every day, knowing that each activity is planting the seeds that will someday grow. Never lose sight of the fact that every step leads you closer to the goal. Keep plugging along with the certainty that better days are ahead. Days of reaping the harvest. Days of financial security.
Patience and persistence are the two most important qualities of a successful business owner. Make sure you practice them. You will be glad you did.
